Biography of Milan Tadic
Born in
Beograd (Belgrade), Serbia, Yugoslavia
in 1964. Used to play with books, mathematics and cars what led him to create
different electronic stuff including but not limited to micro- and personal computers.
Received the degree of Dipl.-Ing. from the Faculty Of Electrical Engineering
at University of Belgrade in 1990 and started
post-graduate studies, but was interrupted by the phone call during lunch
(as usual :-) and eventually joined the Concept Engineering Department
at Micronas GmbH (then: ITT Intermetall) in
Freiburg, Germany couple of weeks later
to work on development of integrated circuits.
He was until July, 2001 Project Manager for new product development projects and until July, 2007 Program Manager for TV-audio and IF products. He's at present responsible for Quality Systems and Process Management.
In the mean time his country of birth changed name - first to "Serbia and Montenegro" and finaly to Republic of Serbia - so Yugoslavia doesn't exist any more in any form whatsoever (besides the international court in Den Haag, but that's a completely different story...)
As every real engineer he thinks that there's always room for improvements, so he's active in some places:
- Matematicka gimnazija (= Gymnasium for mathematics), where he slipped a lecture or two while finalizing his software projects
- ETF BAFA - ETF Belgrade Alumni and Friends Association
- ETF-D - Place where all ETF Alumni and Friends living in Germany are welcome to help build a German branch of BAFA
- Nasi-u-D - Site for people living in Germany
- Yu-dit - Club of engineers and technicians "Nikola Tesla" in Baden-Württemberg (Germany)
- PMI - Project Management Institute
